Our Director.......

Director: Shirley Coffman

The Dundalk Sweet Adelines Star Spangled Chorus is proud to have Shirley Coffman as
their Director. Shirley is almost a charter member of the group, joining the chapter
in 1959. She was the associate Director for several years and has served as Director
since November 2000.

Shirley has an extensive background in music education. She directed the Catonsville
Chorus, plus coached and directed choruses in Germany, England and Scotland. She is
a Certified Director in the Sweet Adelines International organization.
 

Associate Director: Bev Bruening


The Associate Director of the Dundalk Star Spangled Chorus is Bev Bruening, a retired
music teacher, who taught secondary vocal  for 39 years in Baltimore County. Bev has
had experience directing various award winning choirs, coaching youth barbershop quartets
and directing high school musicals.  Bev. also sings in the registered quartet, GOING UP.
